College Stadiums Football:
Your premier source of information for College Football Stadiums!

Although there are many reasons to watch and follow
college football, the strongest argument might be the fact that
it’s one of the few sports that allow so many people to
come together and enjoy something to special. In Lincoln, home
of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, each home game on Saturday turns
the city into the third most populated city in the entire state.
Stores shut down, streets are blocked off, the city is totally
different that day and the fans love it. The “Big House”
in Ann Arbor, home to the Michigan Wolverines, is the largest
stadium in the nation with a stated capacity of 107,501. Penn
State, Tennessee, and Ohio State also have home stadiums with
capacities larger than 100,000 people. Many stadiums have been
around for numerous years while a lot of other stadiums are more
modern and have some of the special features that can only be
offered in more recent times. Most teams have stadiums at or near
their University campus but some quite notable teams play their
games elsewhere. USC. The number one team in the nation for the
last two seasons, plays their home games in the heart of Los Angeles
in Memorial Stadium. The Minnesota Golden Gophers play their home
games in the Metrodome, home to the Minnesota Twins of MLB and
the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL, while the Tulane Green Wave
play their games in the Silverdome, home of the New Orleans Saints
of the NFL. Numerous teams also have home stadiums that host end
of season bowl games like the Orange Bowl (Miami), the Rose Bowl
(UCLA), the Citrus Bowl (Central Florida), the Liberty Bowl (Memphis),
and the Sun Bowl (UTEP).
