Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is located at 3911 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90037, and is located near the University of Southern California. The Trojans have played in Memorial Coliseum for many years but they’re not the only sports team to play in the stadium. The stadium also hosted the 1932 and 1984 Summer Olympics and numerous Los Angeles teams, including the: Rams and Raiders of the NFL, Dodgers of MLB, Chargers of the AFL, Express of the USFL, Aztecs of the NASL, and Extreme of the XFL, along with the UCLA Bruins for a few years. Memorial Coliseum was completed on May 1, 1923, and can hold 92,000 people. The playing surface is natural grass and the coliseum has undergone numerous renovations over the years. In 1984, the State of California and the U.S. Government declared the Coliseum a State and National Historical Landmark and the Pope visit in 1987 set an all-time attendance record at the coliseum at 134,254.
