Mountaineer Field, located on the West Virginia University campus in Morgantown, WV, was built in 1980 and uses an artificial playing surface. The stadium can hold 63,500 people which comes in handy in many of the West Virginia football games. The Mountaineers play in the Big East conference and so they have a lot of national exposure and play against some of the best teams in the nation like Miami, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Tech.
